Volví a la expo de Delacroix antes de que cerrara para hacer uno mas!
Es un cuadro pequeño y muestra la escena del rescate de Andromeda por Perseo. Lo que pasa es que parece ser que quería el autor hacer un paralelismo de la leyenda de San Jorge y el dragón...
La imagen es oscura y muy interesante y el paisaje y marina se funden en un ambiente casi onirico.


I went back to the Delacroix show before they closed it this week.
It's a pretty small painting showing the scene where Perseus saves Andromeda. But it seems also that the artists wants to establish a parallel line between this mythological motif and the Saint George legend also...
The image is dark and very interesting and the landscape-seascape is a dramatic dreamlike place.
